Me ha parecido muy interesante este texto porque narra la historia del turismo desde un pasado no muy lejano(el boom de los años 60)hasta la actualidad en el cual comenta las ventajas y desventajas que tiene el turismo masivo a nivel mundial.
Creo que entre todos podemos proteger esos espacios naturales dedicados al turismo si nos concienciaramos un poco, ya que en la mayoría de las ocasiones influye negativamente en la belleza de los patrimonios, sobretodo, los de nuestro país, ya que es uno de los rincones favoritos de los extranjeros.

Me alegra ver los primeros comentarios, y sobre todo que el texto os haya parecido interesando. Pero os pido que firméis los comentarios (aunque sea con pseudónimo), para que nos vayamos conociendo todos. ¡Y por supuesto que me refería al jueves 9! Tenía que haberlo especificado...
Héroe y villano.
La persona que viaja se nutre tremendamente de la vivencia fenomenológica que se expresa en las diferentes culturas.
El problema, se encuentra en que las empresas turísticas no te ofertan un viaje a la India para que al observar su realidad se nos atragante y comiencen a surgirnos miles de reflexiones que probablemente nos cambien como personas. En el lugar de esto, las empresas turísticas crean una realidad ilusoria, donde existe lo pernicioso pero lo que impera es la diversión y el maravilloso patrimonio artístico que nos dejará boquiabiertos.
Esto está enfocado a la evasión de la rutina pues poca gente quiere salir de su país en vacaciones para ver como funciona realmente la India y estresarse con ello.
El turismo nos engaña, nos muestra realidades cómodas y satisfactorias olvidándose, y por completo a veces, de la verdad.
En la misma línea, crean hoteles en las playas para albergar enormes masificaciones que contaminarán las aguas, paseos marítimos que acaban con el encanto natural de la costa, y nos ponen duchas para que nos quitemos el salitre y nos vallamos más cómodos.
Pero éste es un tema no solo de concienciación a las empresas turísticas, todos deberíamos plantearnos estas cuestiones con más seriedad. Si existen este tipo de prácticas no es más que por la demanda.
¿Comodidad o pureza? esta disyunción no es necesaria si sabemos equilibrar la balanza. Existe otra manera de disfrutar, siendo más parte de los lugares que pisamos.
Si alguna vez decidís emprender un viaje de estas dimensiones, coged una mochila y cargarla de ilusión por el aprendizaje, como cuando éramos niños, dejándonos sorprender. No dejéis que se os pueda denominar “idiotas que viajan”.
Ésta es una de las reflexiones que personalmente me ha ofrecido la lectura de éste texto. Respeto, a pesar de mi posicionamiento, a las personas que viajan de este modo. Pero creo que podría ser un debate muy interesante para contrastar ideas y llegar a conclusiones.

En segundo lugar, me ha encantado tu comentario. Aunque un poco pesimista... ¡Tendrías que haberlo firmado! Te lo digo porque en esta asignatura cuenta mucho la forma de expresarse (deformación profesional de los historiadores). No esperéis un examen "tipo test".
Espero que sigas tan locuaz (en el mejor sentido de la palabra) en clase. Y espero que amplíes tus "reflexiones" cuando me lo mandes por mail como práctica.
Aquí os dejo la conclusión de mi comentario crítico sobre el texto, espero que os guste. Un saludo a todos.
Mi intención no es escupir sobre el turismo, sino dar la clave a mi parecer para poder disfrutar de lo que hayamos elegido. Ya lo decía Aristóteles, “la virtud esta en el término medio” y ese es mi consejo. Dejemos que las agencias de viaje hagan su trabajo, que nos faciliten lugares de alojamiento y rutas adaptadas a nuestras posibilidades. Pero digamos alto cuando veamos que se nos coacta a la hora de empaparnos de lo que deseamos de esos lugares.
Y por supuesto, planifiquemos rutas alternativas, porque, y hablando de mi propia experiencia, el disfrute del turismo no sólo se encuentra a los pies de grandes museos y monumentos históricos; también se puede hallar a la sombra de un naranjo, en una soleada plaza de Granada, al lado de la musa que, al menos para mí, nada tiene que envidiar al encanto de la Alhambra.
El aspecto a destacar del turismo no es la grandeza visual de tales sitios a visitar, sino el saber qué esconden éstos, tras la belleza ilusoria del posicionamiento de marketing que hacen colapsar nuestros ojos y mente con lugares fascinantes, e imágenes retocadas llenas de luz, luz que no es tal cual o que por lo menos no es fácil de visualizar. Con esto quiero decir que el turismo va más allá de la imagen creada, o de la realidad que nos vende, hay que saber viajar, y saber conocer qué es turismo, qué entrañan las ciudades, arte, cultura, ocio, belleza paisajística, etc. Eso es turismo, y eso es lo que se debe vender y sobre todo y ante todo transmitir,a la persona interesada.
Ojalá que el significado de turismo tan simple pero tan complejo a la vez, quede en la mente de las personas no como villano, si no cómo héroe, y no se utilice para soslapar complejos abstractos e ilusiones irreales de vida perfecta en hoteles de lujo y urbanismo utópico.
Espero que esta reflexión le sirva a alguien de ayuda y la intente optimizar en la medida de lo posible.
